The Volcanic Eruptions of Iceland was an event that occurred during the 2012 apocalypse. Presumably throughout the day of the 21st of December 2012, the volcanoes in iceland erupted due to the Earth's crust becoming unstable and lava forcing its way to the surface, due to the Earth's core's temperature heating up so high. The volcanoes in Iceland caused major damage to the island, triggering earthquakes as well avalanches of snow and ice, killing numerous people and destroying several towns, villages and landmarks. Lava and volcanic ash engulfed the island, rendering it uninhabitable, also causing all the ice and snow to melt.

The remains of Iceland were then swept by a megatsunami when the Worldwide Flooding occurred, submerging it underwater.
