Pittsburgh was the second-largest city in the U.S state of Pennsylvania.

History

The Vice President's chopper is reported to have gone down somewhere outside of Pittsburgh, due to the Yellowstone ash cloud. It is quite likely that the city was destroyed by the ash cloud or the mega-tsunamis.

Trivia

Though never seen in the film in can be implied that Pittsburgh was engulfed by the Yellowstone Ash Cloud and later swept by a mega-tsunami.
