Paris was the capital and most populous city of France.
History[]
21st Century[]
In 2011, Louvre Director Roland Picard worked with art expert and U.S. First Daughter Laura Wilson at the Louvre Museum, where they took valuable artworks such as Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and other artifacts housed in the museum away, under the notion that they were being preserved from terrorist attacks. Replicas were then put in their places.
In 2012, Director Picard was killed in a car bomb after attempting to set up a press conference to expose the apocalypse. The assassination was publicized as a car accident.
When the 2012 Apocalypse began, Paris was likely destroyed by massive earthquakes and was submerged underwater when the Worldwide Flooding swept away the ruins of the city.
