Mount Everest was the Earth's highest mountain with a peak at 29,029 feet above sea level. It was located on the border of Nepal and Tibet, China.

2012 Apocalypse[]
During the apocalypse and the Worldwide Flooding, Mount Everest was hit by one of the tsunamis that flooded Asia. When Ark 04 was sent adrift, it head for the north face of Mount Everest and nearly had a fatal collision with the mountain.
After the apocalypse ends, it was revealed that Mount Everest was no longer the roof of the world, with the Drakensberg Mountains taking its place.
