Lama Rinpoche was a Buddhist Monk. He didn't believe in the world's apocalypse when discussing it with Nima.

He was killed when a tsunami washed over the Himalayas and destroyed his monastery, but managed to ring the bell and get out the signal in time. Lama Rinpoche was a casualty of the 2012 Apocalypse.
