Kelp Gulls are a type of bird species and one of the seagull species that lived on Earth. They breed in the coasts and islands of the Southern Hemisphere.

During the 2012 apocalypse, some Kelp Gull species quickly fled the Southern parts of Earth, due to large earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that are due to occur, while some were either perished or have being placed into the Zoology chamber of the Arks.

When the apocalypse ended, the remaining surviving Kelp Gulls either flew off to find some nesting grounds in the risen continents of the new landscape that once was on the formerly beautiful Earth.
