The Golden Gate Bridge was a suspension bridge located in San Francisco. It was completed in 1937 and it had a length of 2737 meters (8980 ft), including a height of 227 meters (746 ft). During the Los Angeles Earthquake of the 2012 apocalypse, a massive earthquake of 10.9 magnitude struck San Francisco, which caused the Golden Gate Bridge to collapse into the bay of San Francisco, killing hundreds of people. With the rest of California, the remains of the once famous Golden Gate Bridge sank into the Pacific Ocean.
