Elephants are a race of animals commonly found in Africa and parts of Asia and North America. Though most of the elephant population was wiped out by the 2012 apocalypse, some were stowed away on the Arks to ensure the survival of their race. After the arks docked in Africa, they would live there with the remaining human populace and other animals that survived the apocalypse.
