The Drakensberg Mountains are a range of mountains located in South Africa, near the Cape of Good Hope.

During the 2012 Apocalypse, Africa is risen several thousand feet, allowing it to survive the worldwide flooding. When the apocalypse ended and time was reset to AD 1, the entire African continent had risen and the Drakensberg Mountains are now the tallest mountains on Earth, succeeding the Himalayas.
