The Andes were a mountain range located in South America.

During the 2012 apocalypse, the Andes mountains were hit by massive earthquakes, which caused landslides and rockslides to fall, crushing various towns and killing numerous people. The Andes mountains, along with the rest of South America, was swept by a megatsunami at the height of 1500 meters when the Worldwide Flooding occurred, submerging them underwater.

When the apocalypse ended, the Andes mountains are left with extreme damage and are rendered unihabitable.
